Step-by-step workflow
1
Download FramePack (Windows)
Official GitHub ONLY — ignore fake websites.
# Official: https://github.com/lllyasviel/FramePack
1. Go to GitHub Releases
2. Download latest .7z
3. Install 7-Zip (7-zip.org)
4. Extract .7z
5. Run update.bat first
6. Run run.bat
7. Open http://127.0.0.1:7860
2
Prepare a good starting image
Image quality directly determines video quality.
✅ Works great: clear subject, clean background, good lighting, portraits, food, products
❌ Avoid: cluttered backgrounds, text in image, low resolution (<512px)
3
Write your motion prompt
Describe what should move and how.
"The person slowly turns their head and smiles warmly"
"Steam rises from the chai, surface ripples gently"
"The bottle slowly rotates, professional lighting"
"The dancer performs a bharatnatyam move, hands flowing"

4
Generate progressively
FramePack generates from END backwards. A 5-second clip takes ~10 min on RTX 3070.
5
Download and extend
Download .mp4. Use FramePack Studio (community fork) for video extensions.
